What is a Certified Holistic Nutritional Consultant?
A holistic nutritional consultant is a trained professional that assesses and identifies nutritional imbalances within the body. They develop personalized wellness plans including targeted nutrition, lifestyle, and supplement suggestions to positively influence overall health.

Will my condition or symptoms be cured by completing the One-on-One GutVantage Program?
We do not cure, prevent, diagnose, or treat conditions. We provide evidence-based recommendations to help manage your condition and alleviate symptoms through diet and lifestyle changes.
How long will it take for me to start seeing results?
Results vary per individual. On average, noticeable improvements typically take a minimum of 3 months.
Can I still work with GutVantage if my condition or symptoms aren’t specified?
Yes. Many conditions and symptoms are interconnected. We recommend booking a FREE 15-minute consultation to see if GutVantage is right for you.
Can I work with other practitioners while working with GutVantage?
Absolutely. We encourage a combined approach, sometimes requiring other professionals to address factors like trauma, which may impact overall and gut health.
Can I replace prescribed medication with the GutVantage Remedy?
No. We optimize medications by replenishing nutrients that may be depleted. Never stop or change medication without your physician’s supervision.
Can I book an individual session?
Our program is designed for a minimum of 3 months to ensure accountability and success. After the program, monthly support includes:
- 2 x 30-minute appointments
- 2 x custom reports with meal/snack ideas
- Unlimited email/voice note support via WhatsApp
Note: One-off sessions are not initially offered but may be arranged for long-term clients.
Can I still work with GutVantage if I don’t know how to cook?
Yes! We provide simple, personalized meal and snack ideas based on client preferences, needs, and budget.
Can I work with GutVantage if I live outside Calgary, Alberta?
Yes! Online consulting allows us to connect with clients throughout Canada.
What does your typical client look like?
Our typical clients are adults 25+, often working professionals or parents prioritizing others’ health over their own, resulting in a decline in mental and physical health.
Service-Related
Are your services covered under health insurance?
Please check with your insurance provider. Some plans cover “nutritional counseling”. Health spending accounts may also offer coverage.
What is your cancellation policy?
Reschedule with a minimum of 24 hours notice. Missed or late appointments without notice will be charged.
What is your refund policy?
The monthly program fee is non-refundable once the program begins.
What is your late arrival policy?
No prior notification and arriving 15+ minutes late is considered a “no-show.” A $25+GST fee applies due to the reserved time slot.
How are one-on-one services offered?
All services are offered online through a secure, compliant video platform (HIPAA, GDPR, PHIPA/PIPEDA, HITECH).
